![]() placement, opacity and sizing), Tiling and as many renaming protocols as you wish. ON1's Export Module whilst not yet perfect is getting very close and has so many options (though I wish it wouldn't close after one export and have to be re-opened so wasting time if for example I'm exporting one version logo free for agencies and one version with a logo for forums etc.) such as customisable Gallery Wraps, Watermarks (inc. Where is Luminar's advanced Export Module ? I mean this is very basic stuff, such as the ability to add logos and signatures instead of the convoluted workaround now of having to create your own pre-sets to add them ? Basics are being ignored in favour of headline making new features that are likely also half baked. a dead end since they are incompatible)? Horrific if true. ![]() What Luminar have done with v4 is make it incompatible with aspects of v3 (there's a thread in this forum warning of this) with it's changed workflow and filters (so importing files edited in previous versions is as the other thread stated. Their pre-launch videos all have sharply defined outlines (a tower laden cityscape in their official trailer) which are very easy to do - ON1's AI can do that now very easily. Not one of the pre-launch videos I've seen has shown tree-lines (or indeed any complicated horizon or partial sky), typically one of landscape photographer's more usual scenarios. I'm not sure how you know that since L4 isn't out yet, unless you are one of their 'Ambassadors' that received a pre-launch copy? Or Beta-tested? In which case a fair dose of salt needs to be added You can check out the ON1 sky replacement videos on YouTube or on the company site. Not sure if Luminar still offer that option but if they do give them a try too. You can download a trial version of ON1 to go it a go. The Masking tools in ON1 work beautifully but even the best software will have issues when it comes to tree lined horizons. ON1 has wonderful masking tools and turns out far more 'natural' looking conversions if that is what you like (Luminar takes a lot from Aurora, another one of their programs, which is for HDR and their controls lack finesse for me and go quickly to overtly HDR). I do still use 元 and I really like the setup however I mainly use ON1 now (which itself has issues - especially in retouching where I'll often go back to 元 which is far from perfect but better than ON1). it's just an AI which can't guess exactly what you want (ON1 already have an AI Masking tool to do this which works quite well). I have no plans to buy L4 because they simply don't fix issues with existing software before introducing a new feature to help them sell their latest and greatest version (see 'Sky Replacements'). I have used Luminar since it's very first iteration (not called Luminar, it was MacPhun's Creative Kit) and am on Luminar 3 now. ![]() Just asking if there's any other software for mac OS that can do the same thing with the same amount of effort/ease of use? If not, I'll be pre-ordering luminar 4. I would like to make things as easy as possible.Īnyways, is there any other software other that does sky replacement without much effort? I'm considering pre-ordering luminar 4 for this feature itself. ![]() The sky replacement feature in luminar 4 seens effortless, which is a huge plus for me. I know I could probably replace the sky in photoshop, but I don't want to take the time to do it. I often find my photos have skies that sort of ruin the image itself. Hi, I stumbled across luminar 4 and the sky replacement feature. Luminar 4 sky replacement, anything easier to use?.
